JSJ9398 – Malaysia-registered motorcyclist evading paying parking fees and riding on pavement at a Wilson open carpark (near MBS) along Bayfront Ave on 6 Sept 2026 at 9:56pm.
It is an offence for motorists to evade payment of parking charges by tailgating other vehicles or bypassing car park gantries at EPS car parks. Offenders will be fined S$35 (Motorcycle), S$70 (Car) and S$100 (Heavy Vehicles) respectively.
Under the Road Traffic Act (RTA), for riding a motorcycle on footpaths, the offence carries a fine up to S$2,000 or imprisoned for up to three months or both, in Singapore.
